I have been a fan of the CBS Radio Mystery Theater and a collector of the show for almost 40 years! I have created this website for the dedicated fans of radio dramas. Listen to one of the greatest radio mystery shows of all time...The CBS Radio Mystery Theater! I remember as a kid listening to the shows in my bed at night. They were broadcast on the local AM station in Syracuse, NY. I remember hearing the show for the very first time back in the late 70's. It was very exciting to hear the creaking door of the Mystery Theater each night along with the scary music playing and the spooky voice of E. G. Marshall narrating the show, especially as I hid in my bed under the covers with the lights out! I looked forward to each chilling episode! This was a unique experience for me! I was a part of the "TV generation" and I often wonder how these shows could have competed with all the live action shows on television at the time. I truly believe that the shows were so special to me because they forced me to use the power of my imagination. The stories were wonderful, exciting and very well written and the acting was class A - superb!
